David Maria Rubaltelli, MD, MBA
Dr. Rubaltelli is an Ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of diseases and in the surgery of the retina and vitreous. This includes conditions such as Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, and Retinal Detachments.
He is a clinical assistant professor of Ophthalmology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center.
After several years in full-time academic medicine, Dr. Rubaltelli is now in private practice providing subspecialty care for patients with retinal diseases in the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.
Dr. Rubaltelli received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Dartmouth College and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Rubaltelli completed his Ophthalmology residency training at New York Medical College | St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York, and his fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary | Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Rubaltelli also received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School
